THE ASSOCIATION
Name:
UNSATA, stands for University Nursing Students' Association of Tanzania.
The headquarter of UNSATA currently is at Faculty of Nursing - Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences.
Objectives of UNSATA
1.To build the relationship within Nursing students in country and other Universities Worldwide.
2.To improve the provision of nursing services based on the scientific evidenced approaches.
3.To encourage registered nurses and student nurses to do research thus contributing to the health promotion.
4.To prepare and conduct conferences and workshops, which will address issues related to nursing professional.
5.To participate in voluntary health services eg. Counseling, Health education and community based care etc.
6.To address issues of most vulnerable groups like Women, children, Orphans and Elders.
7.To enhance and broaden the general and specific education of member students thus improvement of nursing education.
8.To build a strong, autonomous and transparent organ which shall enable nursing students to express their concerns about their professional perspectives.
9.Improve /Strengthen the status of nurses nationalwise to reach their full potential and international level quality.
10.To address issues of common health problems i.e HIV /AIDS, Drug abuse and teen pregnancy in prevention aspects,  supporting victims and develop relationship with other organizations dealing
